This trip has a local flavor to it as the camping is replaced by staying in the only island settlement, Alatan. This fishing village is located in a lagoon with stilt huts over water. Here, you will stay with a local family and experience their way of life. Evening dinner will be served with the family, after, private bedrooms in the home. Morning breakfast and goodbye smiles, we return to the beach to spend the day. After lunch, the boat will take us back to town. As eco-tourism grows in the province, we try to get involved with local Khmer’s and demonstrate how the Eco-tour economy can contribute and improve the lives they live.
